The Genesee Valley Health Partnership in Livingston County, N.Y., has received a $100,000 grant from Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield to develop a countywide electronic health data network, the Rochester Business Journal reports.

The health partnership plans to use the grant for:

* A centralized electronic health record system for emergency medical services;
* A single entry-point portal to link patients with chronic illnesses or disabilities with services and providers; and
* An EHR storage and retrieval system for providers."
