Washington State Health Care Authority: "The bill requires the development of a strategy for the adoption and use of electronic medical records and health information technologies that are consistent with emerging national standards and that promote interoperability of health information systems. The Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) will work with a health information infrastructure advisory board (referred to as the HIIAB, or ?the Board?) that is created in the bill to help develop that strategy.
